“All I have learned, I learned from books.” - Abraham Lincoln
On or about the first of each month, the Walpole Town Library installs a new children's book along a designated 'StoryWalk® Trail' at Distant Hill Nature Trail. The book trail consists of laminated pages of each book posted along the trail, with a fun thing for the kiddos to do as they move from page to page.
The book walk helps build children’s interest in reading while encouraging healthy outdoor activity for both adults and children.
Our 'StoryWalk® Trail' tradition began in August of 2020, and we have had a new book every month since then!
